At present, there is no centralized location to find qualified people for ophthalmic tech jobs, who have been vetted and trained with general ophthalmic knowledge.

 

With over 23 years in the ophthalmic field, I have been routinely asked if I knew any techs looking for a job.  Presently we have a large gap between trying to find qualified techs and stealing them from other offices.  Having heard for years the trials and tribulations of spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on ads or job sites and coming up short on candidates, let alone trained one, Eye Biz was created to solve the problem.
