Our program goal is to provide basic ophthalmic knowledge as well as a clear understanding of the responsibilities and duties of an ophthalmic tech to impress during the interview, get the offer and start your exciting new career.
The job duties consist of obtaining medical histories from patients with chief complaint, perform diagnostic tests to assist ophthalmologists in determining a diagnosis or path of treatment, test patients' vision, administer eye medication, maintain optical equipment and instruments as well as assist the physician in minor medical procedures or surgeries.
